This book has been on my shelf for a wee while. It's a cute adventure story about a fearless Weta finding his way in the world and searching for a new home. The illustrations have been cleverly thought out and bridge the gap between picture book and comic/graphic novel.
It's in a style that 6 to 9 year old boys especially appreciate, and often attempt to replicate themselves when writing their own stories. A perfect book for that age group.
Author Josephine Carson-Barr has added fun facts at the back about our native Weta,
