Why do cats have tails?

This is a lovely, simple story about the relationship between a grandad and his granddaughters. A child's serious question turns into a bit of tall storytelling on the part of grandad. Most children can identify an adult in their lives who likes a bit of mischief. Stephanie Thatcher's illustrations are clear and bright and full of personality. Her cats are gorgeous and are the visual stars of the story. A great book for four to six year olds.
